Nature-Based Solution

FINCAPES works with IPB University to accelerate the application of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for ecosystem sustainability, which are critical to Indonesia’s climate adaptation and mitigation efforts. FINCAPES supports IPB University to establish a center for applied research in NbS that will develop, pilot and field-test improved NbS techniques and models in target communities, and beyond, to complement Government of Indonesia critical ecosystem restoration efforts. The work will also support biodiversity preservation, carbon absorption, and sustainable livelihoods.
